News of Touraine Primeur
2002 Wines are going to be excellent.  The growing season was long (we had a mild spring and a mild autumn) although summer wasn't so hot as hoped.  Cabernet Franc from Bourgeuil, Chinon and St. Nicolas and Saumur will be excellent, buy next simmer and autumn.  Vouvray will also be excellent, you can buy in cubitaineur in May, after that in bottles.

The Festival was marked by interesting displays from many local producers, music in the streets and finally a 'Course au Plateau' when the Viticulteurs dressed up as waiters carrying a bottle of wine and a full glass, and raced each other twice round the streets, another race which was nearly won by M. Leclair!
