Vrigny is a small village next to St. Georges Sur Cher (see location map), just 2 miles (or 20 minute cycle ride) from Chateau de Chenonceau and half an hour from Tours and centrally located for the key Loire Valley attractions– the ideal cottage holiday experience. It is great for cyclists and keen walkers, two minutes from lovely Touraine vineyards and around 10 minutes walk from the river Cher and from the village shops in St. Georges Sur Cher. We are also just a 20 minute cycle ride to Montrichard the local town which offers shops, sports facilities, local swimming pool, restaurants a chateau and places to buy wine.
In Vrigny we have 3 self-catering cottages, all lovingly restored, with plenty of character and charm, with shared access and protected garden. These were bought some 24 years ago and renovated with thought and care, offering high quality, modern bathrooms and kitchen facilities.
• Maison Doiseau (named after the original family owners) has 2 x double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely French-style kitchen diner.
• Maison de la Grandmere has been extended to become a 3 bedroomed unit; 2 x double bedrooms and 1 x twin room, there are 2 bathrooms and 1 shower room.

There is space for parking on site and we do recommend you have a car to get out and about to visit all the Loire Chateaux.
We have bicycles for your enjoyment and great cycling around the vineyards and the river past the chateau, there are cycle routes well posted.
We are centrally situated within the world-famous Loire Valley chateaux , perfect for visiting historic castles and French markets; favourites of course include Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois, Chambord, Chaumont and Cheverny, and west of Tours, Villandry, Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau.
