Well, thanks to your fantastic cottages I'm a local hero. My family had a perfect time in Vrigny - the weather was perfect. Sunny enough to sight-see but punctuated by rolling storms which made playing cards by the fireplace ridiculously idyllic.  The bikes were a great touch too.  What great countryside, grapes were being harvested, the leaves were turning and leaving flames of bright yellow and red across the green hillsides. Sight!!  I hope we find ourselves in Touraine again sometime - Jenni

We all agreed this was the most relaxing October week holiday we could remember - the weather was kind too.  What a lovely location Vrigny is and ideal for exploring the Cher/Indre/Loire area.  Bikes were much appreciated as was all your information.  Thank you - Anne

The cottage is in a lovely village and the bikes were a great bonus to see the local area and beyond You have thought of everything and we were very comfortable. Thanks so much for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.  We had a wonderful holiday and took in so many sights of the Loire.  Of course sampled plenty of local wines.  We hope to return one day as there is so much still to see.  We will be in touch - Susanne and Marcus, Pat and John and Jack the dog

I am writing to return the keys and to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Vrigny.  The cottages are lovely and in such a beautiful area.  The boys really enjoyed the use of the bikes and it was lovely to cycle through the quiet vineyards.  We very much hope to return to the area some time in the future and would certainly recommend it to our friends.  JJB 

This holiday has been one of the best we have had and because we decided to go without a car;  the bikes were a godsend and we managed to get about very well on them visiting all the places we wanted to go.  For us to visit places further afield we got in touch with a local taxi man 'Taxi Phil' who was very reasonable.  We would certainly recommend your cottages to any one who is thinking of coming to the Loire Valley and we would like to visit again ourselves.

Thank you so much for letting us rent your delightful house. It was so much bigger than we expected and as grown up daughter decided to come at the last minute there was plenty of room. ...We enjoyed futuroscope and visited 3 chateaux in one day which was probably too many! Bikes were used and river walked beside. ..... Hi Ann

Have just got back to UK. The Barn was absolutely wonderful!  We spent a lot of time at rest under the trees in the orchard as it was so hot.    The best restaurant was by far, the Roserie.  I have already recommended the Barn it and will continue so. We will certainly stay again when next in the area.  Very impressed with all the information sent and a particular thanks for booking the Son et Lumiere which had our tickets ready for us.  Thanks again for making our holiday a bit special.

We had a fantastic time: the accommodation is beautiful and wonderfully appointed to a very high standard.  We followed your itinerary for the week to the letter and were very grateful for all your suggestions and ideas. We found the local butcher and baker very very good and had some great home cooked meals.  The mushroom caves were fascinating, we enjoyed the wine tasting as well.  Lindsey and Colin

We would like to thank you for the lovely week in your cottage in Bourré.  It was very comfortable and well equipped and so well positioned to visit such lovely places.  Saw beautiful chateaus and lovely countryside.  Drunk too much vin and ate too much from the Boulangerie and Patisserie.  A recipe for a wonderful holiday.  Ann and Jeff

I thoroughly enjoyed the cottage..in such a beautiful situation with so many interesting places to visit and it was very convenient to reach by Eurostar / TGV with a car hire from St. Pierre.  It was the comfort and situation of the cottage that was a key factor in the enjoyment of the holiday. Richard
