	Montrichard is a bustling market town on the River Cher between Blois and Tours.  It is 5 km from our cottages in Vrigny and 2km from Bourre. Montrichard is situated on the River Cher, which provides a focus for those who enjoy fishing, boating or just sitting on the 'beach' in the sun.
On a sunny day at the end of May - sit at the pavement café with a 'petit noir' or 'grande crème' or perhaps a delicious sweet chocolate drink, and watch the town hum, as the locals go about their shopping.
	Monday afternoon and Friday morning are the days for the market - excellent local produce available.
