 Bourré

Votre choix de deux maisons a Bourré -  nous avons toujours Maison Requin -- une tres belle maison avec une terrasse et jardin, une belle vue de la rivière Cher.  Maison Requin est parfait pour une couple.

Cette annee nous avons de nouveau Maison la Grange, parfait pour 2 couples.

Pour 2004 nous restaurerons la Grange, cette maison aura deux chambres pour 4 personnes.

Bourré est un village très joli, ce village est au bord de la rivière Cher 4 km à l'est de Montrichard.   Ce village est fameux pour sa tuffe qui forme la construction des chateaux de la Loire, et pour ses caves, utilisées maintenant pour les champignons et pour la vinification de la  'Methode Champagnoise' - Bonne venue aux visiteurs.  

Our cottages nestle into the hillside behind the main street of the village, where there are restaurants, a Bar, a grocer, baker, and pharmacy.   We overlook the Cher valley and have the most wonderful views, we also benefit from the south facing slope with mild winter temperatures and an early spring.

Montrichard is a bustling little town with all the shops you could hope, good restaurants and bars, a market on Mondays and Fridays, a beach and peddloes, a river boat-trip, swimming pool and tennis courts.   The main attraction is the Donjon - the ruined chateau, where there is a museum and a wonderful daily show when the eagles housed there are allowed to fly freely above the turrets.   10 km. to the East is Saint Aignan, another pretty little town on the south bank of the Cher, dominated by its Chateau with mediaeval streets, and good bars and restaurants, and an excellent Saturday market.    Further along again is Selles sur Cher, again with a chateau and very big Thursday market.
