All about each chateau
	Chenonceaux - the famous Chateau straddling the River Cher east of Tours.
	Amboise - the beautiful chateau built by Charles VIII in the 15th Century has magnificent views over the River Loire
	Villandry - famous for its gardens, situated west of Tours now easily accessible from our cottages by the new Autoroute
	Chinon - this chateau, which dominates the town, is now ruined but provides a fascinating history back to the days of Jeanne D'Arc.  Lovely town full of timbered buildings and history including the place where the first french parliament was held
	Azay-le-Rideau  - this pretty chateau straddles the river Indre just south of Tours - again easily accessible from our cottages by autoroute
	Blois - this chateau dominates this elegant town.  Shown here is François Ier's staircase
	Cheverny - famous for hunting, this elegant chateau south of Blois is fully furnished and provides an exceptional insight into life at the time
	Montpoupon - this mysterious chateau south of Montrichard houses a hunting museum which includes a fabulous collection of Hermès scarves - this is only a ten minute drove from our cottages
	Ussé - fairy-tale chateau west of Tours, said to be the home of Sleeping Beauty
	Langeais - a mediaeval fortress well worth visiting!
