Amboise in the heart of the Loire Valley Chateau and wine region of France is only a short drive from our cottages. It is located only 25 km. from /tours on the south bank of the Loire and is famous for its historic chateau, Leonardo da Vinci andits Sunday market.
| Amboise This pretty little town sits on the south bank of the Loire halfway between Blois to the north and Tours to the south. It is striking for its elegant bridge spanning the Loire and its island, and for its beautiful Chateau which dominates the town. |

| Amboise is a popular town with tourists, the main street is pedestrianised
and has a number of interesting shops and cafés; there are some good restaurants and one
of the best markets in the Region.
